The launch of {creative practice}
A little something extra for those on their own creative quest
Hello Friend,
This is a very short post because I just want to share with you one of the ways I am surrendering to my why through {creative practice} and other mentoring opportunities.
It’s also an opportunity to honor someone who used to drive me crazy with his countless questions about photography. What I was doing at any given second while actively taking a picture. Why I was doing whatever I was doing.
I mean he drove me batty but in a good batty way. I’m almost certain he took the above picture while asking me a question. He was a very curious soul. I adored him and I miss him dearly.
Outside of being a photography enthusiast, he was an incredible professor and his students loved him. The entire community loved him and his absence is still felt to this day. He was also generous, kind, patient, outspoken, and outgoing. All the characteristics necessary to be an incredible teacher and mentor.

While he may have thought I was mentoring him with his photography skills, he was really mentoring me to be something more than a person who took nice pictures of his students.
He is one of many people who have positively impacted my career as a storyteller and I would like to think one of many I can honor by being generous in sharing my skills and love for this craft with others.Â
If you would like to learn more about {creative practice} or my other mentorships (there are two others), please take a moment to check out the introductory article (click the image below).
If you know someone who might enjoy a mentorship opportunity with me, please consider sharing this introductory article with them. I will begin publishing {creative practice} content this coming Sunday evening (Jan 8, 2023).
Again, thank you for being here. It feels REALLY good to be welcoming photography back into my professional and personal life. It’ll never be what it was, which is very exciting.
With a humble heart,
